Aissatou is currently working in the cyber security space with GE in Atlanta, GA. She immigrated to the US with her family in 2001 and has been here ever since. She graduated from Miami University in Oxford, OH with degrees in Management Information Systems and International Studies. Her passions include writing, debates, and working with charitable organizations. Aissatou loves working with people from various backgrounds, collaborating and expanding her network. Her life motto is “the pens have been lifted and the pages have dried” from the prophet’s (saw) Hadith 19.

Holding his Master’s in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute in Vermont, Moutarou offers his expertise in international education to a variety of different organizations and academic institutions working in Senegal and across the continent. He regularly leads groups of all ages on experiential learning trips across Senegal, responsible for logistics, curriculum design, translation and communications. He is an expert in local languages such as French, Wolof, Pulaar. His international education experience spans both the US and Africa, including the Study Abroad Department at Fordham University, the Brooklyn International High School, and being a leadr-organizer of summer youth service-learning programs for Seattle Lakeside School in Senegal. Furthermore, he teaches French, Pulaar, Wolof and English for multiple organizations, including Concordia Language Villages in Minnesota, Peace Corps, School for International Training (SIT) study abroad, CIEE, and numerous organizations across Senegal. He has also taught French for the French Language Heritage at the French Embassy in New York and served as an academic coach for the International Rescue Committee’s project on West African Parent Engagement in Staten Island. Moutarou speaks 6 languages and has worked with groups from over 60 countries. For two years now, he’s been a freelancer working for Baobab Consulting as the International Education Specialist as well as Translator/Interpreter for BuildOn organization building schools around Senegal. Over the past year, he was very active as the local language expert helping on Macky Sall’s reelection campaign.
